Payment Data

We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number and the security code associated with your payment instrument. All payment data is stored by AffiniPay, LLC (LawPay).

We automatically collect certain information when you visit, use, or navigate the Services. This information does not reveal your specific identity but may include device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser and device characteristics, operating system, language preferences, referring URLs, device name, country, location, information about how and when you use our Services, and other technical information. This includes log and usage data, device data, and location data (which can be either precise or imprecise based on your device settings). You can opt out of location data collection by disabling your Location setting on your device.

Use of De-identified, Anonymized, or Pseudonymized Data

We may use de-identified or anonymized data for internal analytics and service improvement purposes. Any de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data is not shared with, disclosed to, or used by third parties without your active consent. Third-party use or disclosure of your information in any form — including de-identified, anonymized, or pseudonymized data — is prohibited without your express prior consent.

No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information to any third party for profit or other monetary transactions. We do not exchange your personal information for monetary consideration.

Third-Party Service Providers

We may share your data with third-party vendors, service providers, contractors, or agents who perform services for us or on our behalf and require access to such information to do that work. We have contracts in place with our third parties, which are designed to help safeguard your personal information. They cannot do anything with your personal information unless we have instructed them to do it. They will not share your personal information with any organization apart from us. They commit to protect the data they hold on our behalf and to retain it for the period we instruct. All third parties are bound to the terms and conditions of this privacy policy.

The categories of third parties we may share personal information with include: communication and collaboration tools, data analytics services, payment processors, and sales and marketing tools.

Business Transfers

We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company. 5. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?

We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy notice unless otherwise required by law. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize such information, or, if this is not possible, we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.

Data Deletion Requests

You may request permanent deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at hello@lockeimmigration.com. Upon receiving a verified request for data deletion, we will delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it. We will confirm completion of the deletion to you via email.

Dormant Accounts

For dormant accounts (accounts with no user activity for a period of twenty-four (24) months), we will notify you via email before deleting or anonymizing your data. If we do not receive a response within thirty (30) days of notification, we will proceed with deletion or anonymization of your personal information, except where retention is required by law.

6. How Do We Keep Your Information Safe?

We have implemented appropriate and reasonable technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot promise or guarantee that hackers, cybercriminals, or other unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat our security and improperly collect, access, steal, or modify your information. You should only access the Services within a secure environment.

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a data breach that compromises your personal information, we will notify affected users without unreasonable delay and no later than required by applicable law. Notification will be sent via email to the address associated with your account and will include: (a) a description of the breach, (b) the types of information involved, (c) steps we are taking in response, and (d) steps you can take to protect yourself. If email contact is not possible, we will provide notice through our website.

7. Do We Collect Information from Minors?

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age. If we learn that personal information from users less than 18 years of age has been collected, we will deactivate the account and take reasonable measures to promptly delete such data from our records. 8. What Are Your Privacy Rights?

You may review, change, or terminate your account at any time. If you are located in the EEA or UK and you believe we are unlawfully processing your personal information, you have the right to complain to your data protection authority. If you are located in Switzerland, you may contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.

Withdrawing Your Consent

If we are relying on your consent to process your personal information, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us at hello@lockeimmigration.com. This will not affect the lawfulness of the processing before its withdrawal.

Opting Out of Marketing Communications

You can unsubscribe from our marketing and promotional communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us. We may still send you service-related messages necessary for the administration of your account.

Closing Your Account

To close your account and request deletion of your associated personal information, please contact us at hello@lockeimmigration.com. Upon verification of your identity, we will close your account and delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, subject to any legal retention requirements. We will confirm account closure and data deletion via email.

9. Controls for Do-Not-Track Features

We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

10. Do California Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

Yes, if you are a resident of California, you are granted specific rights regarding access to your personal information under the California Civil Code Section 1798.83 (“Shine The Light” law) and the CCPA. You have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion of your data, the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information.

Locke Immigration Law LLC has not sold or shared any personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose. We will not sell personal information in the future belonging to website visitors, users, and other consumers.

If you ask us to delete your personal information, we will respect your request and delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, subject to certain exceptions provided by law.

11. Do Virginia Residents Have Specific Privacy Rights?

Yes, if you are a resident of Virginia, you may be granted specific rights regarding access to and use of your personal information under the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (CDPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and the right to opt out of targeted advertising and the sale of personal data.

Locke Immigration Law LLC has not sold any personal data to third parties for business or commercial purposes and will not do so in the future.

Upon receiving your request, we will respond within forty-five (45) days. If we decline to take action, you may appeal our decision by emailing us at hello@lockeimmigration.com.

12. Do We Make Updates to This Notice?

Yes, we will update this notice as necessary to stay compliant with relevant laws. The updated version will be indicated by an updated “Revised” date.

For material changes to this privacy notice or our terms of service, we will obtain your active consent before the changes take effect. We will notify you of such changes via email and/or a prominent notice on our website, and will provide a plain-language summary of what has changed. If you do not consent to the changes, you may close your account as described in Section 8.

In the event of a change in ownership of Locke Immigration Law LLC (such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets), we will notify all users of the change in ownership via email prior to the transfer and provide information about how the transition affects your personal information and your available options.
